I've always been a great believer in learning by doing.  You never REALLY know what's what until you've actually TRIED something.  I mean...  ppl TOLD me Vegemite was awful, but until I TRIED it... well I never would have guessed anything could be that bad .  (that comment was for all my Ausie friends who are near and dear to my heart!)

So here I am, in the middle of Social networking, seeing what all the fuss is about.  And as I went about creating my space (not to be confused with MySpace) I started to think of all the cool and useful things I could put in here - things that I personally always want available - and when I need them,  I find I'm constantly having to dig through the bottom of my hard drive to find - and things that others here might find useful as well...  All the technical kinds of nuts and bolts that one needs to have their act together on the internet.

But.... perhaps more interestingly will be that this is a semi-sorta public space where guys can find me and we can carry on some interesting dialogs about TZ.  This will be very interesting... and I'm interested to see how the linking structures work and what kind of effect they have... you know me - always the geek at heart, been taking things apart to see how they work since before I could use a screwdriver to put it back together. In fact, I'm still kinda dangerous with a screw driver - beware programmers with power tools!

So, now, with that, I've had my say.
